Step 1: Gratitude

Getting better at video is all about mindset, and the first step is gratitude. Try and find gratitude in everything you do! Get in that feeling of gratitude if you feel like you should do a video on something. Our feelings don't cause our thoughts, it's the other way around. So if we can feel grateful for something, I our thoughts are more likley to be positive and will help with the fear of doing your next, or first video.

The end result is usually this, gratitude leads to you knowing that you have some type of value to give, and knowing you have value leads to the confidence you need to rock your business with video.

So please know, no matter where you are in your journey as an entrepreneur you do have value that can serve your audience. Sometimes you need to just remind yourself, and get around other people that will remind you, not those that continuously remind you of your flaws.

Step 2: Create Your Confidence 

Start small, practice in front of the mirror.  Then do a fb group with one other person thats close to you and practice, but key is not to watch the video. No one that crushes live video starts out that way. It may sound cliche, but you're not going to be born ready to crush video. No one is. Its a practiced skill, and you have to start somewhere.

My advice, cover up the number of people on live with a sticky note and hang up a picture of a person you love, spouse, etc and just talk to them. Also, do not think you need to be perfect, your flaws are what makes your video fun and stick out from the millions of other videos people have chances to watch. You can always edit your live vide and re purpose it for another platform like fb watch party, IG TV, or Youtube.

Step 3: Reward Yourself

Reward yourself, 80% of all success starts in your head. You need to belief, the confidence, and you have the ability to get it, and you can do it fast if you are dedicated to the practice.

Remember, you have a gift and who are you hurting if you aren't sharing your value through live video
