6. Never hang around 5 broke friends, unless you want to be number 6. You are who you spend your time with!

7. Every time you get paid – Always pay yourself first.

8. If you have a job, never let someone in the HR Department, choose where your 401k goes. Never let someone ELSE decide where your money should go.

9. When investing money, try to do everything in your power to invest in things you know and understand.

10. Never pay interest on shoes, furniture, jewelry etc. just because the department store gave you the option.
